Find out the simple steps you can take to prevent them.

What can be done to prevent root decay?

Since root decay is caused by bacteria, the best advise is to keep your teeth clean everyday. The exposure of your roots makes cleaning more complicated. There are alot of nooks and grannies, where bacteria can hide. We can customize a method of cleaning your teeth and roots with various periodontal aids. In addition, we can use fluoride varnish and/or flouride trays to help prevent root decay from developing. We develop a customized fluoride plan just for you. Your diet is another major factor in root decay  because certain snacks and food can greatly increase the number of bacteria that forms the decay causing plaque.

We are here to help you keep your teeth for a lifetime!
